Tuesday:
Today we will finish up our presentations on Earth's History.

Then we will share and discuss the posters you made over the weekend.

We will finish up the period by disecting the traditional FIVE paragraph essay. Your homework for today will be to write an outline and essay on the following FRQ.
"The three terrestrial planets, Venus, Earth, and Mars are extremely similar in their position and proximity to our only star, the Sun. Describe current climate of each planet. Highlight and explain factors of why each have the climate they do. Be sure to explain in detail why Earth in its history has continued to have habitable conditions for life and has not ended up like either Venus or Mars."

Thursday:
Good day to all. I hope you are having a good one. Today we are going to set out and accomplish several things.
For your warm up today, would like to quickly make yourself flashcards on a keynote. You may use/steal the key terms Eve did on her presentation. This is not the way we are going to do this from now on, but this is my chance to get you to study these key terms because they will be on the test Monday. So, quickly put the key term at the top of the slide and then write the definition in the body of the slide. You have ten minutes.

After we are done with vocab here are the things we will be focusing on in class today.

-First off, I would like to check/grade your outlines from Unit 1.
-Secondly, we will share and discuss the posters about "Snowball Earth."
-Third I am going to collect your FRQ and outlines you made.
-Last, we will continue and finish the student presentations about Earth's history.

Reminder, Test on Unit 1.1B: Earth's History will be on Monday. You may make a 5x7 cheat sheet.

You have a new and rather large assignment that will be due next Monday, SEPTEMBER 9TH. You must watch a video and answer the questions to follow. There are almost 140 questions, so start early, this will take all of two weeks. A good pace would be to answer ten questions per day. Way too many questions to leave until the weekend. The video link and the questions link can be found below.
